A new start in life

The casino breakfast bar was off the strip, many employees went there. As John arrived he did not see her, they both worked night shift so the daytime was free. While waiting in the lobby for her to arrive, he noticed a striking sexy woman walking into the door, white top, white shouts, perfect hair, open toe sandals perfectly manicured nails. The two hugged, went to the breakfast bar and sat and talked for hours. She was dressed to the tens, everyone else looked casual.
They both were avid Bruins fans and were excited about the LV Knights coming to town. John most the time sported his Boston Red Sox cap from the 2004 season. It was a conversation started for sure.
John, sat his coffee cup down, and exclaimed. ‘Lyd’ you are one of the most amazing women I have met here, we need to go out and start seeing each other as more than best friends.
Lydia sighed, and took her hand softly and laid on top of his. John’s body felt a rush right away, and he was afraid his face may have blushed. ‘John, you are so naive, and an all around nice guy. I have to make you aware of something. His heart sunk, because he only imagined something negative.
John, I am a transgendered woman. There was a pause, and John said, but your voice it’s so feminine. I have had my testicles removed. My God, you are so much more attractive than most women I meet. Lydia, says ‘I have gone through several surgeries, nose, cheeks, removed my ‘adam’s apple’. At that moment, Lydia withdrew her hand and said, ‘I understand if you don’t care to see me anymore’. Just then; John put his hand on hers saying, ‘I do not know why, but it does not matter to me’.
This was like a weight off both their shoulders. They paid the bill, walked out to the parking lot to her car, and John put his arm around her and kissed her on the cheek. She returned the kiss and they parted. She never told him, but on the way home she felt joy and a tear rolled down her cheek. Lydia exclaimed, ‘damn hormones, makes me cry like a real woman’.
